Workshop Structure & Content
What exactly will I learn in each module?
Module One covers the functions that solve most daily Excel tasks: VLOOKUP for matching data across sheets, SUMIF and COUNTIF for conditional calculations, text functions for cleaning messy data, date calculations for reporting periods. You'll practice with real datasets from Argentine businesses.
Module Two focuses on pivot tables and dashboards. You'll learn to build pivot tables that answer business questions instantly, create calculated fields for custom analysis, design charts that update automatically, and build dashboards that communicate insights clearly.
Module Three teaches practical automation. You'll record macros for repetitive tasks, learn basic VBA to customize those macros, automate data imports and exports, and create reusable templates that save hours of manual work.
Do I need to take all three modules in order?
The modules build progressively, but you don't need to start at Module One if you already have solid function skills. If you're comfortable with VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and basic formulas, start with Module Two. If you already use pivot tables regularly, jump to Module Three. Contact us and we'll help you assess which module matches your current skill level.
How hands-on is the training?
Extremely hands-on. We demonstrate a technique, then you immediately practice it with a real dataset. Most of each day is you working in Excel while we circulate to answer questions and provide individual guidance. This isn't a lecture where you take notes — it's practical skill building through repetition.
What makes your approach different from other Excel training?
We don't follow Microsoft's curriculum or teach you to pass certification exams. Every example comes from real Argentine business contexts — sales data, inventory management, collections tracking, payroll scenarios. You'll recognize the problems immediately because they mirror what's in your own spreadsheets. Small group sizes mean individual attention, not anonymous webinar participation.
Will I receive a certificate?
You'll receive an attendance certificate confirming you completed the workshop. This is not a Microsoft certification — we don't teach to Microsoft exams. The value isn't a certificate to hang on your wall. The value is what you can do with Excel on Monday morning that you couldn't do on Friday afternoon.
Prerequisites & Requirements
What Excel skills do I need before starting?
For Module One, you should be comfortable navigating Excel — opening files, entering data, basic formatting, simple formulas like SUM and AVERAGE. If you use Excel regularly for data entry and basic calculations, you're ready.
Module Two assumes you know the functions covered in Module One or have equivalent experience. Module Three requires comfort with both functions and pivot tables.
What version of Excel do I need?
Excel 2016 or later, Windows or Mac. Office 365 subscription works perfectly. Older versions may work but some features differ slightly. If you're unsure about your version, contact us before registering and we'll help determine compatibility.
Do I need to bring my own laptop?
Yes. You'll work on your own laptop with your preferred setup. We provide all practice files and materials digitally. Working on your own machine means you're learning in the environment you'll actually use. We'll help with any technical setup issues on day one.
I'm not very technical — will I be able to keep up?
If you currently use Excel for basic tasks, you can absolutely learn these skills. We explain concepts clearly without jargon, move at a pace that works for the group, and provide individual help when needed. Small group sizes mean we notice when someone's struggling and can adjust accordingly. You don't need to be technical — you need to be willing to practice.
Scheduling & Logistics
How often do you run workshops?
We schedule workshops based on participant interest and availability. Contact us to discuss when you'd like to attend, and we'll work to arrange dates that fit your schedule. We typically run multiple sessions of each module throughout the year.
What are the workshop hours?
Each module runs three full days, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We include morning coffee, lunch break, and afternoon refreshments. Regular breaks keep sessions productive and prevent Excel fatigue.
Where are workshops held?
All workshops take place at our training facility in Salta at Los Eucaliptos 60, A4400. We provide detailed directions and parking information when you register. The space is designed specifically for small-group technical training with proper tables, power outlets, and comfortable seating.
Can I attend remotely via video?
Currently we only offer in-person workshops. The hands-on nature of the training and the individual attention we provide work much better in person than through video. We can see your screen, answer questions immediately, and help troubleshoot issues in real-time.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens. Contact us as soon as you know you can't attend, and we'll work with you to move your registration to a future session. Specific cancellation policies are provided when you register.
Group & Corporate Training
Can we send multiple people from our company?
Absolutely. We offer group discounts for three or more participants from the same organization. Having colleagues attend together often enhances learning because you can discuss how to apply techniques to your specific work contexts.
Do you offer private workshops for companies?
Yes. If you have 8-12 people interested, we can arrange a private workshop exclusively for your organization. This allows us to customize examples using your actual business data and focus on the specific Excel challenges your team faces. Contact us to discuss corporate training options.
Can you come to our office to train our team?
Potentially, for groups of 10 or more. On-site training requires proper training space with adequate tables, power outlets, and minimal distractions. Contact us to discuss your needs and we'll determine if on-site delivery makes sense for your situation.
After the Workshop
What materials do I get to keep?
You keep all practice datasets, exercise files, and reference materials provided during the workshop. Everything is digital, so you can reference it whenever you need a reminder of how to build a specific formula or create a particular chart type.
Can I contact you with questions after the workshop?
Yes. We provide email support for questions that arise when you're applying what you learned to your actual work. We can't build your spreadsheets for you, but we can help you figure out the right approach when you're stuck on a specific problem.
Do you offer follow-up sessions or advanced training?
We occasionally run advanced sessions covering specialized topics like Power Query, advanced VBA, or specific industry applications. If there's interest in a particular advanced topic, let us know. We develop new workshops based on what participants want to learn next.
